It most commonly devolves into a Marxist confrontational exploitation of one party by the other!

“1 Corinthians 13: Charity {alternately translated ‘love’} suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity {alternately translated ‘love’} never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away”. (kjv)

As you’ll note above, the word translated “charity” in the King James Version is otherwise translated as “love” elsewhere. When you look at this disparity you’ll note that “love” is more contemporaneously appropriate than “charity.”

Today’s woman no longer considers her marriage vows binding upon her – and neither does the state. Marriage has reverted back to a mere business contract with a penalty free no-fault exit for women; but all the penalties remain in force that disadvantage men.

“1 Corinthians 7:10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.” (kjv)

MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) philosophy of life discourages marriage because of the seriousness of it as expressed above. It’s a lifetime commitment without an exist provision in the eyes of GOD.

But gentlemen, should you fault and marry, you have not sinned; but “Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh”.

“1 Corinthians 7:27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.
28 But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.” (kjv)

As you can see above, MGTOW, although discouraging marriage, also does not encourage divorce.

In other words, the marital, unrequited love, female career opportunity isn’t the marital romance that men think they’re getting when they commit themselves. Because unrequited love isn’t a romance – consider MGTOW philosophy for yourself!
