Came across a post on another site that hyped up Kurt Andersen's latest book Evil Genuises: The Unmaking Of America. In it Andersen condemns capitalism and the radical right, and I couldn't help but to laugh to myself over the blatant hypocrisy on his part. A quick perusal of the cost of his book turned up a price range of $20-30. Now, if what he had to say was that critical, one would think Andersen would have made his book free to download online in PDF format... but of course that's not what he did. He capitalized and continues doing so off of gullible suckers who buy into his angry tripe. People like Andersen are the reason why we face the issues we face, pointing the finger at others while they are no better themselves. In the end, most if not all of those who complain about capitalism have at least one point in their lives capitalized themselves, but of course they will vehemently deny such.
