As far as I'm concerned, the Baroque Age was immediately followed by the Metal Age, and all the other styles never happened. 80s music especially never happened.

I prefer older music as I am old but I sing all genres except rap.

Mostly Symphonic Metal, mostly Nightwish and Epica (examples in the linked comment below). Sometimes other metal and rock, and sometimes other genres as well; selectively (bands, artists and songs).
