Opioids and body pains

Is it possible if you over use opioids you would kill off your bodies ability to make its own? Or deaden the receptors of the opioids? So when you come off the drugs you feel pain because there is no natural opioids anymore? Or harder to get stimulus from regular day to day activities?

You can also reset the bodies opioid tolerance with a ketamine infusion.

Regular opioid use lowers the effect, so you need to keep increasing the dose to get the same effect. A dose that may have killed you initially, will barely be felt at all after prolonged use. And yes, prolonged use lowers tolerance to pain. It's like your nerves get overly sensitive to the point where, something that was once tolerable becomes excruciating.

So I’m thinking breath work would get some things flowing again and bring relief.
