Here's what concerns me about MSM tactics. They pull this sort of stunt often, knowing that millions will drink their kool-aid. By that point the damage is done....people have bought the lie. Retractions/corrections never get the same level of attention, so only a portion of their audience realizes they were given false information. The lie is then perpetuated.
Correcting false information requires much greater emphasis on the correction than was given the original story. Has that ever happened?
