It seems like the left is pushing even further left. This tends to leave the more moderate-lefts practically homeless, political speaking. As this happen further, I would expect a schism within the Democrat party. In turn, this will result in two likely scenarios. We'll either see more central-left people connecting with the central-right. Alternatively, the whole party could move to the crazy end of the spectrum. It's quite difficult to determine which is the ultimate end game in either scenario.
