We need lawyers, district attorneys, judges, several circles of courts up to supreme court, countless debates to be able to comprehend what is legal and what is not.... But poor old Gary who dropped out of school at a young age to support his family, that has dyslexia and early Alzheimer's... He's supposed to know what the law really says about his sidebiz as a soapmaker. One strike and he's in jail for tax evasion.

Couldn't agree more. A lot of them have the prime purpose of raising revenues while they are enacted under the pretense of public safety or the public welfare.
