And it's one way street. For those who choose to take the easy road, there's no turning back now. Jobs lost to technology are lost for good. I'm sure many figure they'll find work when the hand-outs end, but I don't think it's going to be that simple. Jobs replaced by machines are jobs that were previously occupied by people with a limited skill set. There are millions of job openings, true, but a large percentage of them require skills many people don't possess.
