Last year there were very few (in many places none) asian flu cases. No one that I have talked to this year is offering the annual flu vaccine - only the "covid vaccines".

Does this mean that Asian flu, which killed 20-50 thousand people a year is no longer a threat?

Well, it and its variants are. But, they have been renamed. More profits that way since folks were backing off flu vaccines (& they were legit vaccines) since their overall effectiveness is 10-40%.
Note that the vax for the renamed variants conveys no immunity whatsoever. CDC changed the definition to cover that failure.

Good question. Apparently no one ever gets the common cold any more either.
