Can anyone tell me why I hear my laptop click 2 or 3 times every time I click on a link here on this site?? I don't hear it on any other web site I go to... Thoughts??

If Windows, changing settings in system sounds may eliminate them.

Are you also connected to WiFi? The WiFi network may have this site blacklisted, which might explain the clicking noise.

Or a third party is snooping on you. Suggest you get a VPN, @CaptainFeelgood. That might help.
