Hiring based on anything other than competence is DISCRIMINATORY

Something that has been on my mind forever now is this: forcing a business to hire based on anything other than competence is forcing them to be racist, sexist, and/or discriminatory. This is why.

The idea here is if you are not racist, then you believe all humans are of equal value regardless of race. You could also say that any individual is capable of great competence and merit regardless of skin color. That is not the same as saying all individuals are equally competent, only that race is not a factor in competence. So... allowing or forcing a person to look at any factor OTHER than competence when hiring for a job is, in fact, forcing them to be racist or discriminatory by its very nature. Because you are saying that the person could not otherwise get the job. You are saying that people of that race or that sex are not capable of being as competent as say, a white male. But if you hire based completely on competence and merit, then you are saying that the most competent person will get the job regardless of any other factors like race or sex. You are saying you believe a black person or a female is capable of enough competence to get the job in a market in which white men exist.

By their very nature the left is racist, sexist, and discriminatory because by forcing a person to hire based on anything besides competence, they are saying they believe those select races or sexes are not capable of getting the job based on their competence alone.

The other nugget of wisdom pinging around in my brain is that the fastest, most effective way to destroy a country is to remove competent people from positions of leadership and replace them with incompetent people. And that is exactly what we are seeing. We have to stop it otherwise I don't see how we can last even one generation. It takes incompetence a fraction of the time to destroy what it took years of competence to build up.

This is an excellent post. Couldn't agree more with you, and such tactics are a serious concern. If things don't change soon this country will be in store for some truly dark times, with misery and discontent the likes of which we've never before witnessed.
