Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Apple owns the patent for magnetic quick-release charger connectors, and they gouge it. Because of this, many laptops that don't have the magnetic connector have been needlessly destroyed.
Magnetic quick-release is obvious and should never have been given a patent.
In the 19th century, oligarchs bought up all the sewing machine patents and shut down sewing machine innovation for decades.
There are lots of dumbass patents that should be destroyed. Patents don't help innovation. They hinder it.
Patents are a weapon that oligarchs use to control serfs.

Pharmas are notorious patent holders, too.
It is not the patents that are the problem but the people who wield them for their own benefit.
