Kyle Rittenhouse joined “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Monday to announce his new initiative “The Media Accountability Project” — a group that will be used to hold “members of the media accountable” for lies and defamation similar to what Rittenhouse endured before, during, and after his homicide trial in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in 2021. Rittenhouse was ultimately found not guilty on all charges after he was accused of murdering two men during a riot in 2020.

“So for over a year, media outlets in this country lied about Kyle Rittenhouse in an effort to have put behind bars for the rest of his life. They called him a white supremacist, which he is not. They told us he crossed state lines with an AR-15, which he did not, and therefore he was a terrorist,” Carlson explained before showing a montage of MSNBC guests like Reverend Al Sharpton and others accusing Rittenhouse of embodying white supremacy.-
