LINK Rowan Williams has suggested there is a strong case for the Russian Orthodox Church to be expelled from the World Council of Churches.
If this is the level of "Christian" fellowship within the World Counsel of Churches, expulsion from that body would be a badge of honor. This kind of thing is indicative of a lack of Christian virtue. Even in the worst of WWII no suggested evicting the German or Italian churches from that or any other. To punish the innocent for the crimes of others is evil in an of itself.
