One thing about all of that war making machinery and weapons left behind is that all of it - aircraft, tanks, personnel carriers, weapons...ALL of it will fall into disrepair sooner than later. Without a supply chain of parts and components and without properly trained people to service those things when they break down they will little more than big heavy pieces of metal decaying in the elements
