-Talking to my cousin here in oregon on the new Gov/prop 114--- Ok ?did I just die there for a minute? " )) It's a joke. I know I did. I know you are an optimist.. In a world where you are observing communists (over the last 100 years) dismantle our republic. And work toward removing our constitutional liberties. And being successful over time at every turn??? You are not stupid *****. (I say tapping my foot when crossing my arms). Every day that goes by in this communist infected country/state you are and you will continue to lose your liberty. I want you to be hopeful. But I ?? The engineer, mathematician/physicist.?? I am not saying I am intelligent. All I am saying is I know (looking at the world) I know how this shit ends. :living in truth may not be fun??? But it will make us able to prepare our kids gkids and gg gggkids capable of living in a world that pig shit eating communists like my ma and da, through their ignorance and stupidity have created.. (Think and tell me. Except for moments where we were able to push back slightly?? When have they never won in the end?. It was said about witches in the bible and it is true of communists. Never suffer a witch to live. They infect our world. And are always working to destroy it

As I see it the real enemy is the intentional ignorance of the majority of people and the push to make ignorant and unmotivated people vote. The ancient Greeks defined idiot as someone who refused to take part in governance. This is what happens when idiots are force to participate.

I can relate to your concerns, and I'm to a point where I distrust both major US political Parties. Politicians these days are crooked beyond belief, and things are only getting worse with each passing day.

Heyya. Spike and Garsco. So? what do we do? (short of buying our own island). We can be hyperbolic (And I know how dngermouse I am). But realy? We are in a world where we are tyring to convince people that they are cutting their own thoats. They do not listen? And we can not convince them??

@TrevinKovahl58 Have gone through all of that with those I know for years now, and have learned to make peace with the fact that I will not be able to get through to everyone, and now focus more on those who are aware and discuss ways with them on what we could do to help ourselves get through the rough times. Such concerns are not limited to political ideology, but also with social-based issues as well, and over the years had more or less been forced to sit back and watch helplessly as family members and friends died tragic deaths due to not being logical or reasonable. Speaking of which, wanted to thank you for your kind words regarding my late friend Jake who I had mentioned awhile back on another post, the one who overdosed on drugs.

It's painful having to watch stuff like I've had to over the years, knowing there's nothing I could do to help anything, and don't really have the words to describe how painful that is to me. Times like this I'm glad there are online forums like this in which one is able to connect with others who are equally concerned and aware. Yeah, @Garsco is one of them among some others like you and that Hanno guy etc, which gives me some hope knowing at least I'm not alone.

That said, I haven't thrown in the towel yet, still trying to reach out to as many others as I can, both in person and online. It's not other human beings whom I'm opposed to, but rather certain ideologies, whether they be political religious or social based. While I do disdain and distrust progressive/socialist/communist politics, not against those who adhere to such and believe that a good portion of them are decent human beings like I strive to be, it's just the viewpoints that are different is all.

Had recently caught up with a childhood friend who shared with me a piece from our middle school days back in around 1998 or so, a piece of paper in which I had jotted down some predictions for what life was going to be like for all of us after the new millennium. Of course had long forgotten about that until he rediscovered it among some of his old school memories, but almost immediately remembered that almost like it was yesterday when we were riding the school bus home and talking about the coming Y2K global glitch (which thankfully never happened), and some of what I had mentioned back then was eerily similar to what's going on today. For example, when it came to technological advances, I had predicted nearly everyone would have this communication device similar to a walkie talkie but it also had a GPS built into it along with an internet browsing interface and a few other features like basic ruler and a flashlight etc, and I had referred to this gadget as an "electronic multitool". We have such a device now, the smartphone. Another example, I had predicted the racial/culture wars would heat up again and that the black people would initiate another social revolution. That has now happened, with the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, and the only difference with my own prediction there was that I had said the new Black Panthers would once again rise to prominence, so I got the name there wrong but the general prediction was fairly accurate though. And I was just fourteen years old at that time those predictions were made, and seeing that again after all these years was rather creepy.

Anyways I digress. Not sure what else we could do to reach out to more others who hold views opposite of ours? I know this much... have now been on both sides of the political spectrum, having started out as an anti-gun rights collective socialist supporter who upon doing more research switched sides on that, and I'm content on staying where I currently am regardless of what any others may say or think. As they say, once you go down that rabbit hole there's no turning back. On a side note, just curious, is that you with the spiked hair in your avatar photo? Just curious, and the reason I ask is because I got the nickname Spike from friends as back in the teen years used to spike my hair (still do sometimes) similar to a style that was popular back in the 1980's, but not like in your avatar though. Had meant to ask you that before. As always, good to read you on here and on Minds, and keep fighting the good fight sir, as you aren't alone in that.
