Three relevant points from George Orwell's 1984 written back in 1948. 1) "“Double Think” In a successful manipulation of the mind, ‘The person is no longer saying the opposite of what he thinks, but he thinks the opposite of what is true.’
2) No one ever seizes power or control with the intention of relinquishing it. and 3) Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of the controllers choosing. Cheers.
