How does low oil demand due to a pandemic leading to the cheapest oil ever mean we should stop using oil and use vastly more expensive renewable that can only provide a few percent of our energy needs.
200 years ago it was all renewable: Horsepower, wind for ships, water wheels, windmills and manpower for the rest. Almost everyone live as surfs on less then a buck and a half a day while all the wealth was concentrated in the hands of a few.
