Part of the problem is showing that the first black president's administration was not squeaky clean is going against the narrative that diversity is magic. People never want to look behind the curtain, it ruins the fun.

Racial slavery is the sin of our fathers. It wrecked states rights. It wrecked the court system that had to place individual rights above the rights of the majority to decide their own laws. It wrecked the first amendment when Lincoln jailed editors. It wrecked the educational system. It's corrupting influence will seemingly never end. It put a know nothing, no experience, junior Senator, with identity issues, the son of a communist family deserter and drunken manslauther, the son of a fast lifestyle no responsibilities women, who married a racial bigot in the White House. He single handed destroyed the Democratic party with identity politics and nearly destroyed the country with the insanity of lead from behind. But it made a weak and irresponsible population feel better about themselves.

That brings us to the root of the problem. The insane belief in emotional intelligence. Everybody suffers from it but females in particular and those on the left have embraced it to such a degree that it has become an art form. If you don't feel a certain way you are a bad person in their eyes and intellectually challenged besides. It is in part the product of the indoctrination camps we call universities but it started long ago. Like all successful civilizations luxus has made us weak. A people free to indulge fantasy will do so. They will eventually even come to see those who are good at drama as thought leaders, maybe even elect them to public office in some cases. After all the foundations of civilization are rather dull and unpleasant.

Took long enough. Many on the left are saying this proves that AG Barr is corrupt. It's unbelievably frustrating. I cannot even follow the reasoning.

Same here.
