American news.

This isn't a public health problem-
[ammoland.com]

Politicians said we can't go to work because of a public health emergency. That doesn’t make sense. The actions of our politicians don’t match their words.

"You might be living under a tyrant if ..."

PA governor can declare a 90 day emergency. That's our congress abdicating it's role (turns out most states have identical language save the period of time).

That needs to be reduced to 30 days and redeclaring must be concurred with by an up or down vote.

Politicians who promise everything are the liars. Those who risk the opposite are not in it for power, or they would do anything to stay in office. If you are smart, you recognize the difference.

Politicians are professional liars.
They are the worst possible choice to represent Americans.
Get rid of partisan politics. It’s too divisive, too expensive, too controlling, too extremist...

partisan politics is vitally necessary if a society and its culture are to grow. Politics has been described as a roiling cauldron of competing ideas (or maybe I just made that up - don't know) and I think that is an apt metaphor.
A monolithic gov't is definitively authoritarian and oppressive. It is no accident that the most technologically advanced, the most culturally and economically successful Countries are the ones that established a partisan, democratic, free market system.
The very thing that poses the greatest threat to our way of living here in USA and in GB is the ideology of a Centrist authoritarian governance - like Monarchy and Socialist dictatorships.

@iThink In principle, I agree, and it worked well until, first television, and then computers, internet, smart phones etc., enabled biased media, to be leveraged to divide us into warring tribes.
If we put our heads together, with the goal of finding a better way to select representatives that will debate alternatives for us; we might avoid becoming another failed socialist experiment

To be honest, that has been true of politicians for decades....if not centuries!

I concur.
