If you are working for a company and get a job offer from a different company - to start in eight weeks - do you turn in your resignation today? Or do you wait until the customary two weeks' notice period starts? Are you dishonest for not handing in your resignation today?

That's what I mean by much ado about nothing. Until she resigns she continues to earn a paycheck and have all of the privileges of being a US Senator. To say that her not resigning now is a sign that she's hedging her bets is reading way too deeply into the tea leaves looking for signs.

@Alysandir Wrong. Remember Trump has not collected a salary in 4 years. So unless Harris is just in it for the money then she should resign. She knows Trump won, face it.

@jakuboj - So let me get this straight: you're using the fact that Trump has not collected a salary for serving as President to imply that any politician who does accept a paycheck is patently dishonest? That because Trump did it, everyone else should as well?

Ignoring, of course, the fact that Trump is worth about 2.8 billion and Harris about 6.3 million?

Does that not sound to you - even a teeny bit - like you're trying to unreasonably massage the facts to fit your narrative?

One thing that I find very interesting is that you deep thinkers keep referring to everyone who doesn't immediately agree with your crazy theories as "lefties." Kind of like how the woke progressives refer to everyone that doesn't immediately agree with their crazy theories as "alt-right."
