Signs of the End (15:11)
True, the signs are there, and many people can sense it. But what about the date for the new beginning? It's in the bible all these thousands of years. Just as Daniel 9:25 gave the Jews the exact date that the Messiah would be presenting Himself to them as their King (which they failed to figure out), Hosea 6:1-3 is also giving the Jews the date when they will be reconciled with the Messiah that they had rejected, and that would make that date the start of the Lord's Millennial Reign.

He was just shown in a vision what he wrote about. I even suspect he did not understand all of it as he was writing Revelation. We have many instances in scripture where the prophets and even the Apostles had to ask for things to be explained to them. Having said that, most of the keys to understanding Revelation are in the Old Testament.
