But since this passage is talking about nations and not individuals, what are the odds that this passage could be just an allegory? Then there's Ezekiel 25. At any rate, what we read in prophecy is that anti-Semitism is going to get worse as the world edges closer to Daniel's 70th week. This period is the adversary's (Isaiah 14:12-15) attempt to wipe out Israel. Without Israel, the Lord's prophecies and promises regarding the nation can be seen as lies. And the Lord cannot lie.
Talmudic rabbis still hold sway with Israel's spiritual life. They still forbid them to read all of the Torah. I suspect these rabbis will follow the first horseman of the Apocalypse thinking he is the messiah.

Not sure about your Matthew 25 story/parable. Sounds like/reads like a teaching from the Talmud.
Ezekiel 25 and the prophecy against Philistia is happening today. Research the extremely high cancer rates of the Gaza strip.
as for punishing the goats, consider Proverbs 27:27
Those of Israel, the religious,that attend shul/synagogue/temple services read and hear the entire Torah throughout the year. We start with the Parashah Bereshit Genesis 1:1-6:8 and read from the Prophets as well, that being Isaiah 42:5-43:11 Sephardi read 42:5-21; We end the year with Deuteronomy 33:1-34:12 & Joshua 1:1-18 Sephardi read 1:1-9
This next Saturday is Parashah Ki Tavo and Deuteronomy 26:1-29:8 is read and Isaiah 60:1-22
@Weltansicht So long as the rabbis continue to forbid the reading of some parts of the Torah. Jews will continue to have blind spots with scripture.

What sense does it make to single out Israel, which is functionally the line in the sand protecting US interests, unless the World is indirectly targeting the US as well?
US interests are well served in supporting Israel, and targeting those who don’t; they are the enemies of the US.
