This is a save point mentallity with these kids, and those that is supposed to be looking out for these kids, are reinforcing that mentallity that they can go back and start from that point in their lives, just like a save point in a video game or a pause point in a streamed movie. No one is there to tell them that there is going to be permanent changes.
I cannot believe how many there is of them.
I really don't care that medical science has created provisions allowing people to 'transition' from one gender to the next, but I do care that we take these decisions so lightly. Personally, I don't get it or see any advantage to it... but my job is to raise my family, teach them right from wrong, and to love, help and serve others until the Lord comes back... but not judge or condemn them. Our sins condemn us enough. It's the Goodness of God that leads us to repentance.
My biggest frustration is that I have an 18 year old daughter who dropped out of high school last year due to the pandemic and tried to kill herself last fall. She's is fascinated with the trans/gender identity topic as well as other alt/adult issues. Don't our children have enough to deal with than to spoil them with confusing modern technologies? I'm not trying to be 'judgemental' regarding anyone else's decisions, but I'm tired of these things being pushed off in to public society as 'normal' and being taught to our kids as not only acceptable, but ordinary. Just my two cents... Not to offend anyone, just opening a conversation.
