Lightman: it’s that way in the US too. However, if you aren’t a Christian, you wouldn’t see it that way. Many would prefer to see even more of the same in order to completely shut down, and hopefully exterminate Christian thought.
That being said, I strongly support all elements of the 1st amendment of our constitution. There’s a saying in the military (where I served for almost 3 decades): “I may not agree with what you are saying, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it.” We also believe in the 2nd amendment.
In my country there are more atheist LWingers shoving their disbelief down people's throats than Christians.
More non-Christians ridiculing and defaming Christians than the other way around.
It's not that way where I live...
