This is the beginning of the second civil war so vigilante doesn't really fit. The problem is that the those committed to "social justice" are on the wrong side this time.
Here is the situation. Minorities in this civil war analogy are the poor white southerners. They have been parasitized by an establishment that uses them to maintain power. The slaves are in China and the CCP the slave traders. The deplorables are the ordinary workers who's fate the plantation owners are indifferent to. Trump is the most unpopular president since the ignorant crude, back woods lawyer, the "tyrant" Lincoln.
Just as slavery was not the issue that brought on the first civil war social justice is not the major point of contention here. People on both sides have been duped into believing that it is. The point of contention then and now is class. The coastal elites want to maintain their class advantages at any cost, the constitution being an inconvenience. The election of Trump just as the Election of Lincoln is the first real challenge the establishment has faced and they are reacting in the same predictable pattern. Just as Lincoln was forced to jail newspaper editors for their sedition Trump has been forced to wage a war with the fake news.
What we are fighting over them and now is the constitution not social justice. A constitution the elites in Europe then and now hate. A constitution that the plantation owners and the corporatists find an inconvenience.
If you thought that it was about socialism vs capitalism just think how quickly Bernie Sanders cucked to the establishment and what Joe Biden really represents.
