I work in an environment that is contaminated with air born particles like concrete dust or wood dust, paint droplets or fiberglass insulation. these pleated mask do not fit properly and are not approved to be used in such an environment the use of these mask can lead to chronic disease in the lungs cancers or death. all you idiots that have bought mask designed to be used in contaminated areas please stop you are endangering the lives of people who work in these areas who can no longer find them on the store shelves.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Masks to keep out dust and chemicals are essential in some occupations. Masks with a bypass valve to let breath out helps with the ease of breathing as the mask does not get so soggy. However, the best product I found is a Racal Airstream Safety Helmet which can be found by various vendors and prices.
