But there’s this other voice in your head yelling, “YEAH! Mow ‘em down. Scatter ‘em like bowling pins!”

So many news stories showing peoples cars being mobbed may have been enough. But The fact that I didn't hear the driver's horn blaring and that he was not only moving fast but seemed to speed up makes me feel more inclined to blame the driver. As much as I might like to see the "protesters" knocked down, that really did seem uncalled for.
No sympathy for the persons who were hit, but that seemed excessive. And plays into the media's narrative.

After seeing the video of the gentleman being shot by a protestor in Utah, I really can’t blame this driver for barreling through the crowd. For the ones who were hit standing in the middle of the road; Play with matches, you get burned. I’m sorry to hear that the driver was charged. I would gladly donate to the drivers defense fund.

We have not yet had the kind of response from our leadership that comes from contacting them and demanding that they support the original Constitution. That kind of groundswell will have the unmistakable effect of Republicans reconnecting to their platform, and Democrats scurrying for the shadows like cockroaches. Its time folks. I have written to my reps and my governor demanding that they either support the Constitution or resign. Enough of us do that and all of this madness stops.

@Edgework I agree, except there is a big difference between howling at the moon and writing to our representatives in a calm, rational, and measured way. That is most persuasive, because then they understand that rational people are holding them accountable, and that they are finally in trouble if they don't come around, wouldn't you agree?
@TimTuolomne Did you actually write a handwritten letter, or send an e-mail? I only ask because I know handwritten letters have a much greater impact.
@Tycho If you hand write a letter to your representative, do not use CURSIVE, some of them can not read it!!!!!!!!!!!!
They also can not read the Bill of Rights or Constitution as written, maybe that is part of the problem!!!
My granddaughters, who just received their AA degrees, call cursive "old people code"!!

@TimTuolomne I've written both ways... Neither with any apparent impact. Although I did get a very nice form letter from Sen. McCain's office once.
