How much more until we are willing to call it a coordinated conspiracy?

People conspire. It's what they do.
Even if they don't realize it, the Herd is collectively and mindlessly pulling in the same direction... like Herds do.
That's coordinated.
And they're following the self-serving whims of a relatively tiny number of like-minded overseers; perched atop the institutions that we nostalgically refer to as Journalism, Education/Science, Entertainment, Industry/HR departments... even Activism; as well as almost all of the myriad layers of bureaucracy in our "Rube Goldberg" Government machine.
That's conspiracy; when the few people pulling strings are working toward the same goal. Even if they weren't purposefully coordinating their efforts; they would still be conspiring effectively, if not in fact.

To counter it... will require successfully discrediting the goal of Collectivist Utopia itself in the popular zeitgeist; thereby gradually awakening the Herd, just like Odysseus had to drag his men away from the lotus-eaters before they could "snap out of it".
That means educating the Herd, and presently the Lotus Eaters themselves control the means of that Education. And that institution has become the training ground that sends recurring waves of reinforcements out into the wild to corrupt the rest of the society/culture.
The Department of Education is the first "hill" we need to take, if we're ever to recover any ground at all.

Appointing Betsy DeVos, who doesn't appear to be on-board with the Cult, to the Secretary position may have been a tiny step in the right direction, but she can't have any lasting impact on her own. Try to imagine the inertia that she's up against, temporarily occupying the saddle atop a nationwide monster with roots that extend by Law to every single child in the country.
Those roots are fanatically defended by nearly-indestructable public unions at every junction, with the support of all the other "tools" on the team.
She's going to need help and public support.

"Free Government schools" is one of the 10 planks of Communism... for this very reason.
The problem with the centralized Institution in a free society, is that it exists.
It cannot be successfully re-directed to benevolent purpose, it must be up-rooted and destroyed.

The dumber half of the IQ curve, which is below 100 - by definition the average, will never come to the light. The media lies to them on a daily basis and they are too dumb to track the inconsistencies - sometimes on an hourly basis.
