This op-ed gives me hope because it shows that our civilization is robust enough to have adult perspective in our controlled media propaganda machine. The “truth is out there” but it is buried deep. My hopes and prayer is that enough voters can see it before the next election, both in Canada and in the United States.
In this year (2020), we are repeating the turmoil of the post WW1 era. Then Fascism (Italy), Communism (Russia), Nazism (Germany), Popular Front (Spain), Colonialism (Britain) and Socialism (USA) were all on a collision course. Those who would hide this history have the upper hand only when we let them.
Vote wisely, your children’s, children’s children are depending on you for their freedom. Our very civilization is on the cusp of the dark ages. Ages ruled by tyrants, emotion, propaganda, hatred and power. The rule of law will be just a dream for the few with imagination.
So, unclench the fist and open your mind - read the story.

Left wing communist militants made Hitler popular because he was the only thing that stood between them and the complete take over of the entire country. My fear is that my anger at today's state of affairs is going to carry over. I don't think that I'm that much different than the average American. I see all of this insanity that the far left (not liberals) has unleashed; and the democrats that are willing to sit idle and allow their extremist groups terrorize entire cities and states. I'm at a point that I desire retribution and I fear that others like me will want the same. What might we bring down on ourselves in pursuit of that retribution?
