The only reason I had it in the first place was because my little sister made an account and wanted to "restart" with a new account, and she wanted me to use her old account to "like" and "follow" her new one.
It's actually stupid that people are refusing to delete it-- my own sisters argue that it is simply too popular to delete, but I just think that someone has to develop a new video-sharing app that does not affiliate with any government or sell information.
Unless MicroSoft does buy it and makes it safe, then the app will remain deleted from my phone.
Side note: did y'all know that TikTok is (was?) actually planning to pay people to be "campus representatives" by promoting the app to other students on college campuses. Apparently they're going for the big campuses, like U of M in the Twin Cities.

It’s not surprising that China is trying to spread Tik Tok on campuses. Going after the youth has been their go to strategy for decades.
The President once more out-maneuvering China. Not just outmaneuvering Democrats and the media. Bravo!
