I just watched the Governor of California claim that the fires in his state were caused by "Climate Change"!!! WHAT BS!!!!
My Dear old Dad told California, Oregon and Washington how to avoid this situation way back in the mid 1960s, did they listen, HELL NO, and look what they have now!!!
AND IT IS NOT CLIMATE CHANGE, IT IS POOR/NON-EXISTENT FORREST MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!

Not managing the forest, removing over growth, dead trees, brush, etc. is the cause of the current situation!!!

Cuckoo time.... another climate change delusionist.... they tried it on here after the last bushfires... in fact they try it on after all bushfires.
Fire fuel reduction, proper forest management, allowing people to clear areas around their properties and on their properties etc, etc, etc....
We had major fires where I live early on this year, over the years you could see the build up of undergrowth and fuel, over the years, you could see it from the roads where once it was only a few feet high it was now anything up to 30 feet high.

It's caring for trees, clearing brush, having water systems, could have been micro. Maybe windmills. Research into keeping forests. Studying insects that destroy trees.
Stricter controls for hikers, stiffer penalties for fires, smokers.
A lot. A lot of work, over 80 years maybe, expensive but...is it?
Yes, it's low level, almost like primitive people. Are people less so today?
Maybe, slightly.
But isn't there this 'something for nothing concept'?
Everything needs care and CARE COSTS. So...we can't make as much money and the top can't skim.
It calls for honesty, caring.
We ALL need it, rare to get it.

Aren't the specific fires actually being started by the scrawny lil ungrateful bastards whom for some reason are being allowed to terrorize the streets freely, being given a slap on the wrists and released right back out to continue burning down the entire west coast?

I've been reading that a whole lot of spent fireworks have been found at the scenes of the fires.
@Ranticore would make sense..the rioters have been using fireworks to combat the police
Sounds like far too accessible. I saw quite nice parks in Mexico with attractive tall fences, gates, CLOSED at 7 pm, open at 8 am. Control of resources. Heavy fines for abuse. Have to hire patrol, locked at night. Yes, a long way, but necessary.
