The woman blaming the manager for putting shoplifters lives at risk by calling the police is an example of the need for a better educated public. The shoplifters take full responsibility for their actions, not the person reporting them. Also, labeling an entire group by an individuals actions, as you did, is an example of the propaganda you so hate.

You could also watch any popular news channel for 24/7 propaganda from all side of the political spectrum. The solution to filtering out propaganda entails time, effort and a lot of research(not watching Youtube videos) to get to the truth of the matter. A lot of people can't be bothered for a number of reasons, one of which is they're comfortable with what they would like to believe is true as it fits their narrative, political views and it's what "their side" stands for/against.
