I can at least appreciate the consistency from people in the disabled community who still advocate for wearing masks by everyone. Its the ones who fight to not wear a mask that really get me. I know most lean left since we want our free stuff and think Trump doesn’t like people with disabilities so most are probably not “virus deniers” and should not be looking to get out of wearing one even if it may make their lives harder with their disability

I wear a mask to stores etc and at work when a bunch of people are around because it might make some of them more comfortable. Generally at work I see few people and can maintain distance.
Wearing the mask for 2 hours makes my throat hurt, my jaw ache for two days after and makes me grind my teeth so that my teeth are sensitive for a couple days after.
All of the arguments for the mask assume there is no cost only benefit. NOTHING in reality works like that. I live in a black mold state, I presume other costs will start accumulating in 10 years.

hey believe me. im all for not wearing it. i think it should be up to you, though i di understand businesses right to require them as well. i definitely think they can be harmful to certain people despite others being able to wear them effectively, no two people are exactly alike. i just find it a but hypocritical of many in the disabled community who lean left are treating this like the plague are trying to get iut of masks
@Joehlert11 There are at risk people and the mask may help them. There are also at risk people that cannot breathe well with a mask. The woman at Trader Joes screamed at for not wearing a mask was dealing with lung cancer and the mask further reduced her lung capacity.
Masks have become a sign of which side you're on, tribalism. If I see a person in a car alone driving with a mask on, I absolutely know how they will vote. The science around masks has become meaningless.
