@parsifal When I pulled up Harold Haley on Goolag I had to go through five cites before I came to a reference to the Soledad brothers. This was a major case in 1970, but you’d barely know it from the Wikipedia entry. Angela Davis bought the guns that Jackson used. He was holding Judge Haley hostage to “negotiate “ the release of the Soledad brothers, leftist radicals who initiated a prison riot. Very subtle revisionist BS going on here. I was in high school at the time, but I only remember this one because of the reference to Soledad, which appears to be de-emphasized in the various on-line articles.
