No, what the Left wants is for everyone who disagrees with them to shut up and submit to them. Anyway, the guy in this video states my opinion of Biden's call for unity pretty well.

Every establishment believes in their "God" given right to be authoritarian. The cultural establishment that dominates entertainment, the Democratic Party, media, the intelligence community, academia, and Tech are no exception. When the establishment had different values it was just as authoritarian. Every so often someone like Trump comes along to challenge the establishment and gains real power by becoming president. The last time it happened before Trump was Lincoln. If the establishment thinks that getting rid of Trump is going to prevent a civil war they are insane.

It is presumptuous of the left to think that they know what "everyone" on the Right wants. I think most of the people I've spoken with on the Right want law and order, meaning that as a nation of laws everyone should be held accountable to the same degree in accordance with how they respect the law, from the richest, most powerful to the poorest and least empowered. That's called Rule of Law. Most of the people that I've spoken with on the Right believe also that it is wrongheaded and morally wrong to overtax the productive in order to subsidize the unproductive. By comparison to some Third World nations the poor in America are downright prosperous. It, admittedly, feels like an admirable thing to think our poor are prosperous but it is a shameful thing to know that it comes at the cost of deep-seated resentment and resistance from those who are responsible for the wealth that is providing that prosperity. It is unnatural. Such support for the unproductive does not occur in the natural world. The productive survive and the non productive die off. Charity that disempowers the charitable makes everyone a loser eventually. As the saying goes when they run out of other peoples money and there's nothing left to Tax, all that's left is Death.
