Question

Divide and conquer. That is exactly what our government and corporations have done. We are so polarized we are fighting each other over nothing. Distracted by non-issues we are made to feel important.

My question is what issues on each side of the political spectrum can we both agree on and would help us unite against our common enemy, the ruling class?

The issue I believe we can all agree on is bringing our representational democracy back to its roots. It has grown into a power hungry greedy monster. States rights over Federal, term limits for representatives, reduced pay and no lifetime benefits for representatives, limit lobbying, eliminate super pacs. The federal government will be responsible for interstate commerce and maintaining a standing military. That's it, nothing more.

I would like to hear any other ideas to help regain control of our country.

I like that you're try to open up a problem solving dialogue between all sides, pointing out the enemy isn't within one of our party lines ... or at least that's what I thought I read. Idk, you can correct me. My brain no longer works.

There is a laundry list of things we can do but if our vote doesn’t count, peaceful dialogue, founding documents and separation of powers are irrelevant. Coming in at a close second is the massive amount of insider trading and corruption.

No more career politicians. 2. Crush the lobby system, 3. Dismantle Trusts, 4. Dig deep into company ownership and go after corporate espionage, deal making for votes and foreign influence. 5. Censorship and false reporting at scale should be considered treason.

Punishment for violations of national security, voter fraud Propaganda or dissemination of Massive amounts of false information should be swift and high.

Make the bar so low for treasonous acts by politicians and government Employees that they are scared to break the rules. If you are caught doing half the shit Biden has your in Leavenworth for life or hung for high treason.

The problem with talking is the foundation of law, justice and national sovereignty and culture are being targeted for replacement by the state apparatus.

I agree. Serving in office used to be an inconvenient public service, much like jury duty, where one would put aside their personal prospects to focus on the country. Now it is a career path to skirt insider trading laws, get fat lobbying paychecks, and shape the country to set rules that line your personal pockets at the detriment of the American people. We need to remove the plutocracy / kleptocracy.

Good luck with that. It is the nature of government to continually accumulate power. It never voluntarily gives back power.

The Bill of Rights has proven to be a stumbling block to governmental ambitions, but not the hard and fast barrier the founders imagined it would be. Half the country has become convinced that it needs to scraped altogether.

I think preventing the kind of coming together over common issues you suggest is the agenda. Yeah, I’m a pessimist.
