This bill is a freaking insult. What's worse, is that it was incredibly predictable. I know people like to rag on Trump for the "America first" stuff, but out of all times Democrats and Republicans should be in agreement is that our government should put the citizens first in times of crisis.
As far as the vaccine, I can see how Pence and Biden getting the vaccine could be seen as reassurance to the American public. I can also see how some may say citizens getting the vaccine before politicians can be seen as Guinea pigs. So, I'm a bit conflicted on how I view that.
When it comes to the elderly vs the other younger essentials workers, I lean toward the side of the elderly getting vaccinated first. I was under the impression, however, that there could be more risk involved with the elderly?

I am also surprised there isn’t a push to let higher risk people get the opportunity for vaccination first. The 5500 page bill to be read and passed in an hour is nothing new for our shitty government. Pork barrel bs from both parties is a disgrace. Trump and Tulsi nailed it on the head.
