@Tom81 no, ISIS is very much a group with a stated goal and official leadership. Antifa literally means "anti-fascist" and is therefore just a viewpoint becoming a movement. It's like being a white supremacist - you hold a particular viewpoint or ethos, but your can't say white supremacy is an actual group. You can say the Proud Boys are a white supremacist group, and perhaps you can say ShutDownDC is an antifa group. That doesn't make the idea an actual corporeal group.

@JacksonNought no you can't say Proud Boys are a white supremacist group because its led by an Afro-Cuban, has black members and even gay members (and they don't care about colour, or being white). But you could say Antifa is a terrorist cell group similar in tactics to Al Qeada.

Hamas is also just a bad idea.

It's a movement, a group of the ill-bred, uneducated, drug addicted, mentally disturbed trash. Are you part of it? Most of us have seen their mugshots, why don't you upload yours to your bio instead of hiding behind a random picture (from the pirates of the Carribbean? Maybe spend more time with a history book than your Disney movies)
You can be against fascism and communism. That's where I stand. I see neo-nazi skinheads and antifa on the same bottom rung of society (only I know antifa wouldn't be winning any fights between the two groups).

Informal interactions between individuals, groups, and/or organizations - yes! For example, the group in the article - ShutDownDC - is a group involved in the ANTIFA movement. The KKK is a group involved in the white supremacy movement.

Then you lost it. Is ANTIFA an organization? Is there an actual centralized ANTIFA? Is there leadership structure? Membership initiation? No. ANTIFA is not an organization.

For example, take the Proud Boys. They have an actual founder. An official leader. A mission statement. Handed down decrees. Last month Tara LaRosa started the Proud Girls, and the official Proud Boys communications came out condemning her for riding their coattails and making a mockery of them, as they are extremely and proudly sexist. That is a real organization.

Here's a good analogy for you. One of the reason Right-Wingers are so adamant about defining ANTIFA as an actual organization is so they can label it a terrorist organization, and therefore anyone protesting or expressing anti-fascist and Left-Wing ideals can be summarily arrested and thrown in jail and stripped of civil rights for terroristic actions. Let's look at a similar "movement" - Pro-Life. You have rallies and protests, such as March for Our Lives. You also have groups expressing Pro-Life values committing terroristic actions - doctors have been murdered, clinics have been bombed, people have been kidnapped, etc... so, if ANTIFA is an organization under your definition, then Pro-Life is also an organization, and can also be labeled as a terrorist organization. So I guess if anyone expressed Pro-Life ideals, they should be labeled a terrorist.

Is there an actual centralized ANTIFA? Centralised no, localised yes
Is there leadership structure? Yes, you have people who have claimed to be chapter leaders or commanders. It functions more like a terrorist CELL than a national group.
Membership initiation? I'm sure you have to prove yourself before they let you come and join...
