What do you call eight years of birther nonsense to try and de-legitimize Obama, mostly started by Trump himself? Ten investigations into Benghazi, all with the same result? Seventy attempts by Republicans to repeal the ACA with no replacement effort?

You are concerned about stolen liberties and stripping away the right to protest now that your side has been affected? Did you not care when Trump gassed people standing around so he could walk to a church for a photo op? Did you not care when people sitting around watching a violin vigil were charged by police and beaten and detained? Did you not care when protesters were met with police in full riot-gear and tanks? Did you not care when arbitrary curfews were set to keep protesters off the streets, but Proud Boys with bats were allowed to still roam the streets? Did you not care when people were randomly kidnapped off the streets by cops in unmarked vans? Did you not care when cops pushed an unarmed 75-year-old man to the street, cracking his head open? Did you not care when cops shot unarmed protesters in the chests with tear gas canisters, and in the face with rubber bullets, causing brain damage and vision loss and cardiac arrest? Did you not care when cops shot at people looking out their windows or on their porches? Did you not care when cops ran into protesters with cars, or ran over a protester's head with a bike?

Trump won in 2016. Hillary conceded right away. She didn't tell her supporters to march to the Capitol and show strength. She didn't peddle a lie that she won in a landslide but it was viciously stolen. She didn't say that Congress should be subjected to trial by combat. Her supporters marched peacefully at the inauguration wearing pink hats. If any supporters were violent, she didn't tell them she loved them and they were patriots.

The ruling party at the moment is the Republican party. Also, first, 159 million people voted. 74 million of that was for Trump. The population of the US is almost 328 million. So that is only about 22% of the country who would think what you do, if we are going off of Trump votes. Second, you have to assume that everyone who voted for Trump believes his lie that the election was stolen - I doubt this is the case, as even his yes-men in Congress are starting to turn on him. Then you factor in all the people who don't believe the lie, which if we are extrapolating, would be more people based on Biden votes.

Maybe this will finally open Republicans' eyes as to what Democrats have been experiencing the past four years, and we actually can have unity in mutual misery.
