Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.It is almost impossible for a third party to obtain substantial political power in the United States as long as election are on a first-past-the-post basis. The first move should be to try to change that to proportional representation. The reason would be to correct the two party war that has been going on since the nineteenth century.

If Trump forms a party and if he runs again he will only split the Republican vote ensuring the Democrats get in.

Maybe not... Centrist in the Dem party might say....Yeah baby too... And if that happen...A three party happen... What will be the number needed to win the electoral college to be president ?
