People Trying To Cancel Henry Cavill Because He Dated Gina Carano
So...most folks are aware that Gina Carano was allegedly fired from LucasFilm for "abhorrent and unacceptable" posts on Twitter.(1) This results not only in her being removed from future projects in the Star Wars universe - including her own show - but also her agency dropping her as a client.(2)
Now...Twitter has apparently realized that Gina Carano and actor Henry Cavill dated back in 2013...and are trying to have him canceled for it.
For dating Gina Carano.
Eight years ago.
(1) Even though the posts were in no way offensive unless you were actively looking to be offended and were squinting with your head cocked to one side.
(2) It's also coming out that the motivation behind her firing was less about offensive messages and more about an internal war between factions at LucasFilm where she was fired in retribution against "Mandalorian" showrunner Jon Favreau for not toeing the woke party line.

How do they define "abhorrent and unacceptable"? Anything that goes against or questions leftist orthodoxy is my guess. So I guess that makes me....

Pretty much. This is what critics called "anti-Semitic:"
Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?
According to her critics, this quote means that Gina thinks that Republicans have it as bad as the Jews did during the Holocaust. But as you can see, she is urging people to think very hard about the ramifications of creating an environment where people are persecuted by their own neighbors for their beliefs.
Personally, I think it's a rather profound statement, but then...I have no ideological axe to grind.
What's next? Are they going to cancel the WWE from when it was the WWF and Trump was in the ring and on the program?

Don't give them any ideas. They were already talking about removing Trump from the movie "Home Alone."
@Alysandir I somewhat remember that statement somewhere else, maybe Mark Dice, the industry threw him out of the screenactors guild & some other cancel culture psychosis activities.
