How about this for an idea to start correcting what is going on in the "Swamp", AKA DC???
Senator Johnson R-WISC. wanted the entire 628 pages of the "Covid Relief Bill" read aloud on the floor of the Senate!!!
I did not watch to see if this happened!!!
BUT, why shouldn't WE demand that ALL Bills be fully read on the floor!!!
And to double down, if there is more than a single item addressed by a Bill, there were thousands in this Bill, each item should be voted on independently, before continuing to the next item!!!!
Additionally, if there is anything that does not have a 60% vote, up or down, an actual voice vote should be taken!!!! This would be so each of US can determine how OUR representatives are voting!!!
I saw a SHORT video of the Senate floor, supposedly during the reading, it showed about 6 to 8 people on the floor, and most seats empty!!! The comment associated with the video was that the Senate had "Pulled an All Nighter", didn't look like it!!!
I would suspect that a large percentage of the "voters" in this country would not know THEIR Senators if he/she walk up and shook their hand!!!
YES, this would slow things down, but the less THEY get done, less of OUR money THEY spend!!!!!!!!!
It is WAY PASS TIME TO CHANGE THINGS!!!

It only takes a couple to break rank and a couple to abstain. There is always hope, faint hope that the Dems will not take the vote. However, rolling over, playing dead is a guarantee they will win, which they hope you will do. Buck-up, stiff upper lip and all that. . .
