My assumption is that this is two things: 1) the woman in question portraying herself as the victim of religious intolerance, for whatever she can parlay that into; and 2) a propaganda attack against religion itself ("see how crazy those people who believe in the invisible man in the sky are?" ) as if this is representative of how most religions function.
There is also the possibility of her trying to shame the church somehow, but that definitely means she didn't understand what they were all about.
Like I said below, if you don't want a hardcore experience, don't join a hardcore church.

I think the most hilarious part of this story are the Yelp reviews, as if this was a restaurant.
For my part, I don't care what an individual church chooses to do; you want to be a hardcore Quaker? Knock yourself out. You want to talk in tongues and dance with snakes? Whatever. You want to go all Westboro Baptist Church and protest soldier's funerals....okay that one, you might need to re-evaluate yourself.
Point is, there is no "one Christianity." Should there be? That's a theological question scholars and philosophers have argued for centuries, so I don't imagine it's going to be answered anytime soon. Last I heard, Islam has over 150 different denominations. Why? Because different people want to believe different things.
Ultimately, if you don't want a hardcore experience, don't join a hardcore church and then complain when they do hardcore things when you don't act in accordance with what they believe.
