I don´t think it´s quite the core of the issue tho. We like to classify things because makes things easier for us. But just imagine you are one of them. It´s not that you hate blacks. You just hate the blacks who are too loud and poor and gross. You love the Will-Smith blacks tho. You LOVE the poor... you know, on your TV, even pity them from afar as long as you don´t get close enough to smell them or see them for too long. So it´s not class either. They will hang with the poor that are wearing government-sponsored dehodorant just fine if they have the IQ to have a mediocre conversation. We´re all humans. They just hate people who makes them uncomfortable like the rest of us. If I had to put tags on it, I´d rather go with high-school tribes. They´re the plastics and we can´t sit with them. That easy. The world is a big bad mean high school as far as I can tell.
@A1fredo I will very much agree with the tribalism, high school clique-ism. However, I see increasing use of castes. Experts, police, national guardsman all put into specific niches by a ... media oligarchy (?)
Watched an interview with former congressman. He called all of congress a junior high with all the cliques and pettiness you find in any barely pubescent public school.
@Penrodster Yeah, I hear you. Do you think there is relevance to their titles, tho? I think those act as kind of nobility titles, or a blue check mark I guess, but not really truly important as there's no meritocracy. It's an interesting point tho.
@A1fredo Took a minute to figure out what you meant by "nobility titles." I think it's apt, a Feudal system and people jocky to get "knighted" early in a process.
I couldn't tell you what the "process" is but the jockying for a nobility position is obvious.
