I would like to know why so many are supposedly still dying from COVID-19. By at least last Fall the medical profession knew all their options. Personally I do understand some will die regardless, but the vast majority needing medical help should not be dying now. There is no excuse.

can't help wondering about the truth and accuracy of this statistic. Society now is much more likely to blame and to legally sue each other than ever before. Today everything that happens has to be "somebodys' fault.
Nevermind that grandma or grandpa were pretty old when they chose to seek medical attention. Nevermind that this person or that had some undetected underlying heart condition when they went in for a root canal or to have a wart removed...had to be the doctors fault - right? A newborn dies shortly before or after birth - a mother dies in labor; someone has an unforeseen negative reaction to an injection of dye.
Many people die while under medical care or during medical treatment but that does not necessarily mean that the doctors and nurses were somehow at fault. The point I'm making here is that there is a great difference between being accused and sued for medical malpractice and actually being guilty of same.
Many such cases are settled out of court. The medical professionals often are forced by circumstances to settle out of court rather than taking the risks associated with a lengthy trial. A lengthy trial where unqualified jurors sympathetic to the plaintiffs are prone to vote against the Doctor - and whether or not the Doctor is in fact "guilty" of malpractice is of little or no consequence.

Perhaps next time you develop a mysterious wart on your face you ought to consult a lawyer...I mean medical doctors might be dangerously incompetent - right?
