The woke left never seems to ask exactly WHAT IS a “weapon” used to “assault” “…….inflicting bodily harm or physical damage……….” Of recent the Mayor of London launched a ban campaign on first on guns – the he felt he needed to launch an additional ban on knives as the carnage persisted.

Ones own hands can be used as a “weapon” for causing harm to others as they were in the very first murder. But the weapon could just as well be a stick or a stone or any other thing – they could even be a passive weapon such as entrapments of one kind or the other. Set a trap for someone, then wait and see if your not charged criminally. Or are you one of those lefties that don’t think a Vietcong booby-trap is a weapon? Or maybe an automobile with cut brake lines is a weapon?

"Assault weapon" has no definition, and that's by intent; that way, it can mean whatever legislators want it to mean. The voters assume they mean automatic weapons and weapons of modern warfare, but that's a very foolish assumption.

I live in a house built out of assualt bricks (apparently, assault straw and assault sticks did not deter the assault wolf).
Seriously though, have had this convo with cops in Australia... anything that even looks like a weapon, can be classed as a weapon, anything with a 'sharpened edge' is a weapon and anything used as a weapon - is a weapon (even if you're just throwing toilet paper at someone). If it can't be classed as a weapon, it's a 'break and enter' tool...
