Selfishness, stubbornness and stupidity don't have a skin tone.

It would not be reasonable to expect all blacks to accept the values of a culture that oppressed them for many generations. Especially when that culture seems to have abandoned those values.

The first and most important abandoned value is freewill. The source of agency, dignity and individual responsibility. By extension the "protestant work ethic" is not sustainable in a world without freewill. Hard work is for suckers if there is no basis for responsibility. No reason to cooperate with people trying to build a community.
Without a sense of responsibility to community every individual is free to pursue a fast lifestyle and promote a easy and unstable environment.

Broken communities do not have hierarchies of competence. They default to the natural networking hierarchies that we are evolved for. All justified by the amoral naturalistic philosophy that dominates the larger culture.

Without agency and dignity, without a work ethic, without hierarchies of competence fairness reverts to its evolutionary meaning, near equal distribution. With rare exceptions nature is not about nor is possible for it to be about fairness based on productivity. Outside of a civilized environment fitness is about efficient consumption of available resources.

If it were just blacks that have been degraded by a naturalistic perspective it would be a solvable problem. For most institutions it is not what you know but who you know that accounts for placement in the hierarchy. You can see it crony capitalism and politicians who through corporatism become wealthy. It has degraded the educational system and made Hollywood a cesspool. It has produced a news industry based more on the news speakers than the news. Universities are now more about branding than education and are being crushed by useless administrative staff. The incompetence that permeates are institutions is made worse by the reliance on immutable characteristics for job placement. How could an oppressed minority be expected to do better in that environment?

Politicians are playing the Blacks for political power. Marxist ideology has a stranglehold on the Democrat party right now and a quote attributed to George Washington seems relevant, Government is not eloquence. It is not reason. It is force. Like a fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. It should not be left to irresponsible action."
Even a benevolent and benign government must be watched as it holds the power of force. The Democrat party cannot be reasoned with today as it uses blunt force against opposition and is intent upon establishing itself as a central authority. This is why they seem so hypocritical, employing double standards. It is not about reason. It is about force to erase the Constitution and replace it with a socialist manifesto.
Whenever the establishment of socialism is forced it is a given that the extant hierarchy must be eradicated and the resultant chaos produces much social turmoil and destruction. While law and order and reason and logic are being ignored or outright "cancelled", destructive forces are at work to centralize power.
But the real danger is that this is not a national event. It is a global event. This is the biggest push to globalist socialism that has ever been attempted. They tried it in 1914 and they never disappeared. If they haven't openly being overthrowing nations they have been eating away at it little by little in other countries. They do not want any rise in national socialism because national socialists are...well...socialists and just as willing to use force as the communist socialists. They can challenge them because they are just as unreasonable and illogical in their actions and care nothing about law and order. Just like the Democrat socialists they also protect their own as long as they prove useful.

The police are just following orders right now, no longer serving and protecting. Criminals are set free and citizens protecting themselves or vociferously opposing the political trend toward tyranny are being arrested. BLM is a self-admitted Marxist organization and Blacks, along with white sympathizers, are just enjoying being able to loot and pillage with impunity.

It isn't a black thing, it's a common sense thing. Common sense seems to being completely missing in far too many people these days.
