As best I can tell Emily Wilder was fired for being a current activist which is a clear violation of AP employment contracts. The AP made no reference to social media activity previous to being hired.

She was a member of SJP in college and a right-wing mob went on a crusade to get her fired.

Too bad real life actions have real life consequences.
I'm not saying that conservative media didn't stir the pot but she did violate her contract by not disassociate from activist groups.

The cancel culture I’ve always encountered amongst conservatives are primarily made up of the brainwashed zombies who constantly assert that Israel is our greatest ally and try to smear anyone who disagrees with the ADL approved smear word.
Americans have much more pressing issues at home and in our immediate backyard to keep pouring money and blood into that ancient battle.
