In this lay person’s terms IT’S BIOLOGICAL WARFARE RESEARCH – how it could be otherwise is beyond my understanding?
The failure of Donald Trump was his not taking a meat clever to these swamp creature parasites leaching off of the American taxpayers within his first two years in office. You can not negotiate with a parasite – EVER!
I would posit that there never is, or will be, an humanitarian excuse acceptable for researching how to make any biblical agent more pathological to the human species – none, ever!
If the use of biological agents as weapons of war is prohibited (and I believe they are) then there is no reason to be researching how to make them more deadly (aka gain-of-function) is there?
President Trump was far too kind to people that deserve NO kindness or even consideration. To argue that he was anywhere close to tyrannical is either unbelievably evil or unbelievably naive – either was wrong beyond imagination.
PS. The only objection that presents itself, to me that, is that the ban on gain-of-function research at taxpayers expense should prohibited WORLD WIDE not just in China – but perhaps I’m wrong & it does?
